A soft horn is generally caused by excess humidity. The sole has a noticeable depression under the pressure of the thumb. In a humid environment, it is imperative to protect your horse from bacteria and fungi which promote infections and even fork rot.
If the environment is humid or muddy, we advise you to regularly apply Waterhoof organic treatment.
